If you want to create a quick voice clip, you can record directly into the Alitu library and use that voice clip in your intros, promos, etc.

To get started, click on Library:

Then click on 'Add new audio file':

In the next window click 'Record':

Give your new voice recording a name and click 'Start' to begin recording:

If a pop-up appears, click Allow to let your browser use your microphone.

Once you're done, click 'Stop'

Finally, click 1) the play icon to listen to your recording, 2) click Try again to start over, or 3) click Save to save your new voice recording.

Note: After you click Save, be sure to click 'Upload!' to send your file to your library:

You now have a new voice clip that will be added to your Library which you can use in music editor clips or podcast episodes.

Because the recorder works right in your browser, we wouldn’t recommend recording long clips using this tool. Browsers have a tendency to crash, especially when they work with big audio files! If you’re going to record longer than 5 to 10 minutes, it is better to record into your phone or onto your PC, then upload that file to Alitu.
