Course: Launch a Podcast
Learn all the steps needed, outside Alitu, to make your podcast live!
Recording a Podcast Episode with Zoom.us
Zoom.us is a great tool for recording a call with anyone on the web. It’s advantage is that it’s super simple – your guest doesn’t need an account, or software. All they need is a link, which you can send to them. On clicking that link, they’re popped into a chat room with you, all inside their browser. Zoom is free to use for 2-way conversations, so there’s no cost to run simple interviews, or co-ho

Recording More than One Person
If you want to record more than one person, such as an interview or a co-hosted episode, then you have a number of options. I’ll list two very common options here, but you can certainly research more options if you're interested. If you just upload a short clip of you saying "testing, testing... is this thing on?", it'll get rejected. Ins
Setting Up Your Microphone
The only microphone you need here is a Samson Q2U mic, which comes with a desk stand and USB cable. Plug it into your computer, switch it on, connect your earbuds or headphones into the mic, and away you go!
