Does Alitu Publish my episodes to Spotify, etc.?
Your podcast host will submit your episodes to the podcast directories for you. Your podcast host will create and manage your RSS feed. The RSS feed is what the directories use to keep your show listing up-to-date. Alitu helps prepare your final episode and then you publish the file to your podcast host. We have integrated directly with several hosts, so you can find specific instructions for publishing to those services here: https://help.alitu.com/en/category/publishing-your-episod
What audio format should I use?
We are often asked what the 'best' audio format is to upload into Alitu. For best quality, a .wav would be the standard starting point, if possible. Wav files are higher quality, so always upload a .wav if you can. MP3s are compressed files which means their file size is reduced by removing some of the detail. They still sound great, so it's fine to use them if that's what you have available. Please reach out using the 'chat with us' or 'send us an email' boxes at the bottom of thi

What is bitrate and should I care?
What's a bitrate...? Bitrate as a concept is actually pretty simple – in podcasting terms, the higher the bitrate, the higher your audio quality will be. The common unit for audio is kilobits per second, and it just refers to how much data is stored in the audio file. The higher quality you choose, the more data you need to store. For more information on bitrate, see this article, [What Bitrate Should I Use for a Podcast](https://www.thepodcasthost.com/editing-production/what-bitrate-shou
