Uploading your audio files
Create your new podcast episode, then on the Upload Files page, use the drag and drop option or 'Click to upload' to grab the files from your computer. You can select more than one file to upload.
You can also record within the Upload Page screen using the 'Record Something' button. Use the 'Add from Library' button to pull files from your Alitu Library.
Your files will be processed and appear in the Episode Builder ready for you to begin editing.
As mentioned above you can also upload into your "my library" in much the same way
Your files will be processed and saved in your library. You can then add them to any episode you like.
How to Merge recordings
You can easily merge two or more files (they must be the exact same length) when you're uploading them to Alitu. This is ideal if you use something like Zoom to record your podcast interviews and you end up with 2 or more files, 1 for each voice.
As per steps 1 & 2 above, create a new episode and click to select the files you want to merge into 1.
*FILES MUST BE THE EXACT SAME LENGTH TO BE SUCCESSFUL MERGED*
Click the merge icon to the right of the files to link them together & then click Add to Library.
While the files are uploading they will be processed separately and then merged together for you to edit in the episode builder.
