Learn how to upload your raw recordings to Alitu and merge separate tracks into one audio file easily and quickly.

You can easily merge two or more files (they must be the exact same length) when you're uploading them to Alitu. This is ideal if you use something like Zoom to record your podcast interviews and you end up with 2 or more files, 1 for each side of the conversation.

You can only merge your recordings during upload. You cannot merge files that are already in your library.

How to upload and merge your audio files

  1. Create a new podcast episode, then on the 'Add your audio' page, use the drag and drop option or 'Click to upload' to grab the files you want to merge from your computer.

2. Click the merge icon to the right of the all the files to link them together & then click Upload:

While the files are uploading they will be processed separately and then merged together for you to edit in the episode builder:
