Downloads are counted when someone listens to your podcast episode via your website (embedded players) or podcast apps.

How to access your Podcast Statistics
You will only have access to the statistics information if you are using Alitu Hosting. If you host with an externally, then your statistics will be viewable through their platform.
Click on the statistics link in the left navigation bar to view the statistics for your Alitu-hosted podcast. You must have published a live episode for the statistics to show up, scheduling does not create statistics.
Total Podcast Downloads
This section gives a summary of your downloads on a certain period:

Yesterday
Last 7 days
Last 30 days
Last 90 days
All-time
Average Podcast Downloads
This section shows the average downloads per day, per week, and per month based on a certain period. You can use the dropdown tool to select your preferred date range.
Episode Downloads Overview
This shows a breakdown of your episode downloads. You can select from the dropdown your preferred number of episodes to view
Downloads per Country
This shows which country your downloads are coming from. The report is currently showing ‘All-time’ date range.
Listening Apps
This shows which app listeners are using.
Devices
This section shows the percentage of what device your listeners used - mobile vs computer. The report is currently showing ‘All-time’ date range.
Operating Systems
The OS used to download your podcast episodes. The report is currently showing ‘All-time’ date range. ‘Others’ are downloads from less recognized third-party apps.
