You can create your audio, have it processed to sound awesome and edit your episode in one platform. The Call Recorder is available with all Alitu accounts.

Setting up your call

  1. To start, click on the 'Call Recorder' icon in your left navigation bar:

  2. You will probably see a pop-up asking you to give your browser access to your microphone. Please click 'Allow' to continue:

  3. In the center of the screen you can adjust your screen name and select a microphone from the drop-down to make sure Alitu uses the microphone you want:

  4. Click on 'Invite people' to get your unique link to give your co-hosts or guests:

  5. Click to copy the studio link and send it to your guest:

Note: This is your unique link, so you will use this over and over whenever you want to record a call on Alitu.

  6. When you're ready, click 'Start call' to begin your recording session:

    Inside your call recording session:

  1. This is your 'line' in the call. You see a purple microphone button which you can click to mute yourself if you need to, during the call.

  2. This allows more people to join the call. Since you use the same link over and over, this helps you control the participants in your episode.

  3. If you want to invite more people to this call recording session, click 'Invite more people' and share your link with them.

  4. When you're through, click 'End call'.

  5. This is the Call Chat box. You can click this to and send a text message to your co-host or guest. This will enable you to send links or other information without having to say it out loud.

  6. When you end your call, the audio will be processed and then added to your library. You can add this file into an episode using the Episode Builder:
