What Parts of Podcasting Does Alitu Automate?
What Parts of Podcasting Does Alitu Automate?
Updated over a week ago

Here’s what we take care of automatically for you:

  • Converting your files (we take audio recordings from any source!)

  • Levelling (getting the volume right). Our files are converted to mono and are normalised to -19 LUFS integrated loudness and -1 dB true peak. This is the industry standard for broadcasting loudness levels which has been adopted by the podcasting world, too.

  • Noise reduction (removing regular background noise)

  • Hum reduction (removing power-related hums)

  • Adding theme music at the start and end of your show

  • Fading/transitioning from music to voice and vice-versa at the beginning and end of your show

  • Joining multiple recordings into one episode

  • Exporting your episode to mp3 with the right settings

  • Loudness (ensuring a standard export volume)

  • Adding id3 tags to your episode

  • Publishing direct using Alitu or to third-party hosts

  • Generates transcription

Please reach out using the chat box at the bottom of this page if you have any questions about using Alitu. We're happy to help!
