Ways to Publish

Once you have finished editing your podcast episode in Alitu, you have three choices for publishing:

  • Download your file so that you can upload the final file anywhere you choose

  • Publish your episode directly to your podcast host, either as a draft or a final episode

  • Create a video from your podcast episode to share on video sites or social media

You can even generate a transcript.

On the Publish screen, you can preview your podcast by clicking the play icon. If you hear something you want to change, simply click 'Edit episode audio' to return to the editor and make your tweaks.

Download to Publish Manually

If you want to download your episode, click the 'Download episode' button and an mp3 of your finished episode will download to your computer.

Publish Directly to an Integrated Podcast Host

To publish your episode directly to one of our integrated podcast hosts, click the 'Choose hosting provider' button. (In this example, this account is integrated with Captivate.)

As of this date, you can currently publish your podcast episodes from Alitu directly to:

Alitu
Buzzsprout
Captivate
Castos
Libsyn
Podbean
Spreaker
Transistor

Just click the link above for your corresponding podcast host for specific directions for publishing to your media hosting account.

We are working on adding new hosts all the time, so if you don't see your host listed, you can always download your file and upload it to that account. But also, contact us in chat and let us know which host you use.
